It's true that most of the scanners in the libraries are best suited to high volumes of text imaging.

The Science Center computer lab has a couple of high resolution scanners as does the Lamont Multimedia lab (617-495-8730) on Level B.  The Philips Reading Room (617-384-9421) in Widener has a very high resolution scanner.
