The Harvard College Library (HCL) and Harvard University Office of Work/Life have partnered to provide enhanced space in Widener Library for nursing mothers. The lactation space has relocated to a room on the ground floor of Widener, around the corner from the staff elevator in Widener Cafe.

Any Harvard-affiliated nursing mother (faculty, staff, student, breastfeeding spouse/partner) can register to use the Widener Library lactation room. Contact Barbara Jump (jump@fas.harvard.edu) in HCL Operations at 617-496-9777, between 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday for more information and to register to use the room.

The room has a hospital-grade Medela pump, for which you will need to provide your own Medela/Lactina attachments.

Please see Lactation Rooms for more information.
