We have only the June 19, 1932 issue of the Charleston Daily Mail on film. Recent issues (since 1994) can be accessed through the Lexis Nexis database.
It does seem odd to have only one issue of a newspaper, but it was part of a large collection of miscellaneous newspapers that was stored for many years in the New England Deposit Library (NEDL), a precursor to the Harvard Depository. Some time ago, we filmed all those odd issues for preservation purposes. They are cataloged in Hollis and can be viewed on microfilm.
