We recommend the online training videos of Lynda.com which are very good and can be accessed for free by creating an account at http://lynda.harvard.edu/  You'll need to enter your Harvard Key (or HUID/PIN) to verify your status as a current student, faculty member, or employee of the University. Once that's done, you'll be able to log in to Lynda from anywhere.

In addition, Harvard University Information Technology (HUIT) offers consultations to students who wish to learn how to develop a variety of technological skills in support of their coursework. More information about this service can be found on their website, under "Academic Technology Consulting for FAS."
