You have a few options for obtaining another copy:
- First, check HOLLIS to see if another Harvard Library holds a copy of the book you need.
- If no Harvard copy is available, the quickest option is usually to request the book through Borrow Direct. Most materials requested this way arrive within 4 business days.
- If the book you need is not available through Borrow Direct, you can place a request through Interlibrary Loan. This typically takes a bit longer, usually 7-14 days.
- You can also recall a book charged out by another borrower by using the Request Item link in HOLLIS. Keep in mind, however, they will still have another 10 days to use the book before it is due.
One final option to locate a copy of the book at another local library through the WorldCat database and borrow the book directly or use the book on-site at that library.
