Essentially, Borrow Direct is an expedited Interlibrary Loan service shared among several participating university libraries in the Ivy League and beyond. Most materials are delivered within 4 days.
Members of the Harvard community can use their current IDs, PINs, and established library privileges to place Borrow Direct requests online. You can use this service to borrow items available for circulation at another participating library but unavailable at Harvard.
Individuals will receive e-mail notices when requested items are available. You may choose your Harvard pickup library and can return to any Harvard library.
