Connecting to the Harvard Network:

Anyone may use the “Guest” wireless, HUID and PIN are not required and you do not need to register your device.  In order to access the other Harvard networks you must have an HUID/PIN and you need to register your device. When you first arrive on campus, connect to the Harvard network via wireless or wired network and launch a web browser. You will be automatically redirected to the HUIT network registration utility (autoreg.harvard.edu), which will guide you through the steps to register your computer.

Wireless

Connect to the Harvard University wi-fi network (SSID) and open a web browser. If you see a blank page, go to autoreg.harvard.edu and follow the steps on that page to register your computer with the network.

Wired Connections (Available in certain areas within the library, Ethernet cable required)

Connect an Ethernet cable from your computer to a data jack in the library, and then open a web browser. If you see a blank page, go to autoreg.harvard.edu and follow the steps on that page to register your computer with the network.
