You can request the item through Get It (use Borrow Direct for books, ILL for articles, book chapters and books that can't be ordered through Borrow Direct).
If you are an FAS affiliate, you can go to MIT yourself and check out the book. You must first apply for the privilege. Please see http://hcl.harvard.edu/info/borrowing/mit_library_privileges.cfm
Some of the non-FAS graduate and professional schools at Harvard also have borrowing arrangements with MIT. See the library website for your school.
Borrow Direct Plus is an option for those who don't have the MIT borrowing option. See I'd like to use Borrow Direct privileges on another campus.
