Harvard owns several million books and other library materials for which there is no longer shelf-space in the Cambridge and Boston library buildings.  These are located in the Harvard Depository (HD), an ever expanding warehouse facility in Southborough, MA, 25 miles away. When HOLLIS "Location and Availability " indicates that a title is in the Harvard Depository, look to the far right of that same line for: Request Item. Click here and type in your Harvard Key user name and password. Then you should find a pull down menu allowing you to choose among a number of libraries to which you would like the book delivered on the next business day. Otherwise, there will be a single delivery option. Submit your request. You will receive an email as soon as the item is ready for pickup.

Some HD materials can't be requested through Hollis.  For example, the Judaica Department has its own form at http://hcl.harvard.edu/forms/judaica.cfm.
