I am interested in information about a collection of classics that was published as the Harvard Classics Collection.

Answer

The Harvard Classics, published in 1910,  is a 51-volume anthology of classic literary works, compiled and edited by Harvard president Charles W. Eliot.

The texts are now in the public domain, and are available through several online sites such as Project Gutenberg and Bartleby.com.

There is a complete set in Widener, call numbers Lit 2020.10-Lit 2020.10.50
