How do I log in to a Harvard e-resource from off campus?

Answer

 A Harvard ID number and a PIN (Personal Identification Number) is required to access most of Harvard's e-resources  from outside the library buildings, both on campus and off. Harvard University faculty, students, and staff may request a PIN at http://www.pin.harvard.edu/. 

Special borrowers can use the special borrower ID to gain entrance to a library, where they can use the resources. Public computers in Harvard libraries provide access to resources without requiring a Harvard ID and PIN.
