I need a book in Widener, but my child is with me. Can he come into the stacks with me?

Answer

Children under the age of 16 are not permitted in the Widener Stacks.  You can go to the Phillips Reading Room, and ask them to page the item for you.  The reading room is located adjacent to stacks level 3-East. Access is via the stairway in Circulation, Room 160.
